Introduction

Located to the north of the city of Nasca, These enormous drawings drawn on the pampas of Jumana are the most amazing artistic expression of the ancient Nasca culture. Within this area you can appreciate anthropomorphic, zoomorphic, and phytomorphic figures; along to hundreds of straight lines that are several kilometers long. All these structures made with great perfection and precision, which astonished the whole world once discovered and still do to this date, are considered as a cultural heritage for the humanity by UNESCO since 1994.

ITINERARY

Description:

At the coordinated time our local representative will contact you at your hotel in Nazca to start the tour of the Nazca lines, aboard a tourist transport we will head north of Nazca for about 25 minutes through the main road to Lima , where we will start a small hike to a hill in the middle of the immense desert that is considered as an exceptional natural viewpoint of the Nazca lines where we can see more than 52 straight lines, then visit the metallic lookout located a few kilometers north, where we will appreciate 3 impressive figures such as "the hands", "the tree", "the lizard" and hundreds of lines across the desert. Next we will visit a museum of "Maria Reiche" site, where that lady of the same name had a room that very small where she carried out her studies, measurements and protected in turn her entire life the enigmatic Lines and figures of Nazca, in the place also is her mausoleum.
Finally we will take our return trip to the city of Nazca, on your arrival transfer to your hotel to finalize the tour. End of our services.
