The Nazca Lines

Located to the north of the city of Nasca, These enormous drawings drawn on the pampas of Jumana are the most amazing artistic expression of the ancient Nasca culture. Within this area you can appreciate anthropomorphic, zoomorphic, and phytomorphic figures; along to hundreds of straight lines that are several kilometers long. All these structures made with great perfection and precision, which astonished the whole world once discovered and still do to this date, are considered as a cultural heritage for the humanity by UNESCO since 1994.

ITINERARY:

Description

At a coordinated time, a member of VIAJES KONASCA COMPANY will pick you up from your hotel. After, you are going to be transferred to the airport of Nasca, which is located 4 km away from the city (10 minutes trip). For a better scheduling of your departure on the air tour, your complete data will be registered once more at the airline's counter, where your weight will be also calculated. While you are waiting for the air travel, our guide will provide information regarding to the theories that explain the Nazca lines. In addition, you will have the opportunity to watch some documentaries related to the Nazca lines, which are shown at the airport boarding room. Once you have boarded the plane and this is over flying, the pilot and co-pilot will provide with accurate information about the Nasca lines and specific figures so you can locate these figures easily to capture the best photos. After visualizing approximately thirteen figures and hundreds of lines across the immense desert, the tour finishes. Finally, the plane is to return to the airport of Nasca, and then you will be transferred back to your hotel where our services end.
